How to support our work

As a voluntary association, we can only fulfil our mission with the continued generosity of our friends and donors.

If you would like to support us in any way, here are some suggestions:

Charity Tax Relief

                                   Applies to the Republic of Ireland only

From 6th April 2001 donations (standing orders, once-off donations, etc.) to eligible charities of at least €250 in any one tax year from whatever source (i.e. individuals, partnerships or companies) will attract tax relief at the taxpayer’s marginal rate of tax with no upper limit on the amount of donations.

If you are a PAYE only donor, and have donated €250 or more to Viatores Christi in the course of a tax year, we can reclaim the tax paid on your donations. This only applies to personal donations you have made and not to money raised through sponsorship. Please click here to download the Revenue Commissioners Revenue CHY2 Cert for PAYE tax payers.

If you are a self assessed or corporate donor, you can reclaim the tax paid on your donations, at the end of the tax year, as if they were trading expenses. You or your company can choose to make a donation to Viatores Christi out of the money you reclaim from the Revenue Commissioners.
