Thérèse Osborne

Therese is consultant to the Programme of Human Promotion and Sustainable Development in the city of Santa Rosa de Lima, El Salvador, and 23 surrounding villages.

She works with members of social action teams in urban and rural communities who are involved in activities such as organic agriculture, preparing nutritious food fortified with soya beans, gaining water access by building rainwater collection tanks, solar cooking, and leadership courses using the psycho-social method of Brazilian educator Paulo Freire.

The programme’s aim is to improve the health of participating families and motivate them to work together for the common good.
